Installation

Our terms and conditions cover what is included free as part of a standard installation and what happens if our supplier/installer need to quote for extra work.

Sometimes issues arise on the day that mean our installer can’t complete your install on the first visit, but if we know about these in advance, we can often resolve them beforehand

So for the best experience, if you think there’s any reason why we might not be able to complete your install on the day, please let us know

What’s Included

The standard installation for an EV Charger covers the majority of homes in Jordan and includes the following:

  • Fitting an EV Charger charger, 7.4kw (1P), 11kw (3P), or 22kw (3P) as per the site specifications, which will be installed on a brick or plaster wall, or another suitable permanent structure.

  • Up to 20 metres of cable, run and neatly clipped to the wall between the electricity supply meter / distribution board and the Wallbox andUp to 3 metres (10 feet) of plastic conduit/trunking to conceal interior wiring.

  • Installation of an EV Charger within Jordan.

  • If required, Fitting and testing of a 32 A electrical breaker for the Wallbox.

Some conditions and limitations that you need to know

  • The Wallbox must be located in your designated off-street parking area and be fixed at a height where it cannot be hit by a vehicle.

  • We cannot fix the cable higher than 1.8 metres (6 feet) above the ground. If fixing higher than this is unavoidable then the installation may need to be paused – in that case the installer will quote for any extra work needed.

  • The installer can’t, as part of the standard package, trench the cable underground or suspend it above ground – if something like this is required please talk to the installer so that they can give you a quote in advance. If the installer finds out on the day that they have to cross a garden or a pathway they may need to pause the job and quote for the extra work needed to trench the cable.

  •  When you are using your charger the EV charging lead must remain on your property and must not create a trip hazard for you or anyone else.

  • The installer cannot run cable under floorboards or through ducting / ceiling voids / wall voids without a draw cord (to pull the cable through), or if the floorboards have not been lifted. The installer cannot take responsibility for reinstating flooring or other building materials after the cable has been laid.

  • Our installer’s experts are not able to work in crawl spaces, on roofs or in lofts if it is deemed unsafe by them.

  • Our installer’s experts are not able to work in extreme weather (i.e. flooding or intense rain). If it is not safe to carry on, our expert will do as much as they can and they will return at a later date.

  • If you have purchased a freestanding mount for the Wallbox to be fitted on please be aware that there may be an additional cost for installing this.

​What happens if the installer find that your existing wiring isn’t up to manufacturer installation requirements and standards

  • The installer follows the local Authority regulations and Wallbox manufacturer installation requirements on Wallbox installations.

  • If the installer cannot install in line with these regulations and/or requirements then your installation will be paused and the installer will quote for the work needed to meet the required standards.

  • If the existing electrical arrangements at the property are not in line with these regulations, installation requirements or there is something else that makes it unsafe for them to install then the installer will quote for the work needed to meet the required standards.

What happens if your incoming electrical supply is inadequate

The installer can only complete the job if the electrical capacity (i.e. main fuse) can support the additional electrical demands of the Wallbox. If the capacity is not sufficient, the installer may have to pause the job until your main fuse is upgraded by your electricity supplier. It will help if you tell us the rating of your fuse in advance or send us a picture.

Timing

The installer allocates two hours for standard installations. If the installer cannot complete on the day because of supply related problems or unexpected extra works then they will reschedule an installation date once the additional works are complete or their quotation for the work has been accepted.

Additional works

  • If required, the installer will detail any additional works and provide a no obligation quotation for these services. Quotations are valid for a period of 5 days once issued.

  • If the additional works are minor (less than 2 hours additional works) the installer will do their best to complete them on the day, if you decide to pay and proceed on the day.

  •  If it is determined that an installation cannot be completed on the day, The installer will quote for additional works, and a new installation date will be given once payment has been made. Please allow up to 10 working days for a new installation date.

Payment

Additional work Payment is due in advance upon quote acceptance.

Warranty and Limitation of Liability

Please see the user guide supplied with the Wallbox.

The Company shall not be liable for the Wallbox’ failure to comply with the warranty if:

  1. Installation of the Wallbox are performed by persons not approved by the company for this purpose; or

  2. Customer failed to provide notification by email on EVCHelp@catec.ae during the warranty period within a period of three (3) days explaining the defect along with charger and location details;

  3. The Error arises because Customer failed to follow Manufacturer’s oral or written instructions as to the storage, installation, commissioning, use or maintenance of the Products or (if there are none) good trade practice (such as but not limited to use of the Products with parts, accessories or software not provided or approved by Manufacturer);

  4. The Error arises as a result of Manufacturer following any customisation or Wallbox specification supplied by Customer;

  5. Repairs or other interventions on the Wallbox are performed by persons not trained for this purpose, against Manufacturer’s oral or written instructions, or with parts not supplied or approved by Manufacturer; or

  6. The Error arises as a result of fair wear and tear, wilful damage or negligence by Customer and/or a third party, or abnormal working conditions (such as but not limited to damages resulting from vandalism, animals, high-pressure cleaners, or Error in connected vehicles).

In such cases, the customer shall pay all repair, replace and fix the wallbox and the company shall not be liable whatsoever.

 

 

In all cases, the following are excluded from the coverage of the warranty

1.Transportation costs and labour costs of repair, including time spent on preliminary work or on disassembly and reassembly, if the repair of the Products is to take place at the installation site due to the nature of the Products;

2.Cleaning, routine maintenance and preventative maintenance operations of the Products as defined in the Documentation, as well as the supply of products necessary for these operations;

3.Restarting operations after the Wallbox has been secured, for example by circuit breakers, ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs), fuses or emergency stops; and

4.In general, all operations on site, especially if no parts need to be replaced

Generally

Upon installation and completion of the all necessary paperwork and your payment (if applicable), the ownership of the Wallbox becomes yours, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

التركيب

تنص الشروط والأحكام الخاصة بنا بتركيب الشاحن الكهربائي حسب ما تتضمنه معايير التركيب الأساسية. وإذا احتاج الموقع المراد تركيب الشاحن فيه الى عمل إضافي فإنه سيتم تقديم عرض سعر منفصل.

​تظهر أحيانا معوقات خلال معاينة الموقع وأحياناً لا يمكن إتمام التركيب خلال الزيارة الأولى، لذلك إذا علمنا بها مسبقاً، فيمكننا غالبا تفاديها وانهاء العمل بشكل أسرع.

لذا للحصول على أفضل خدمة، إذا كنت تعتقد أن هناك أي سبب يمنعنا من إكمال التركيب، فيرجى اعلامنا بذلك.

ماذا تتضمن الخدمة

تتضمن خدمة تركيب شاحن المركبات الكهربائية المتطلبات الاساسية لتركيب شاحن في غالبية المنازل في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية و هي كالاتي:

  • تركيب شاحن EV بقدرة 7.4 كيلو وات (1 فاز) أو 11 كيلو وات (3 فاز) أو 22 كيلو وات (3 فاز) والتي تحدد من قبل فريق التركيب حسب القدرة الكهربائية اللازمة للمستخدم و يتم تركيبها ﻋﻠﻰ ﺟﺪار ﻣﻦ اﻟﻄﻮب أو اﻟﺠﺒﺲ أو ﻋﻠﻰ ﻫﻴﻜﻞ داﺋﻢ ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺐ.

  •  تمديد كابل من لوحة الكهرباء الى موقع تركيب الشاحن بطول 20 متراً كحد اقصى، يتم تمديده وتثبيته بدقة بشكل خارجي على أطراف الحائط داخل انبوب بلاستيكي بطول يصل الى 3 أمتار (10 أقدام) كحد اقصى.

  •  التركيب داخل المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية.

  •  تركيب قاطع كهربائي عدد 1 بقدرة ٣٢ امبير / ان لزم.

بعض الشروط والاحكام التي يجب أن تعرفها

  • يجب أن يكون مكان تركيب الشاحن موجوداً في منطقة وقوف السيارة المخصص لك بعيدا عن الشارع العام على ان يتم تركيبه على ارتفاع مناسب بحيث لا يمكن أن تصطدم به السيارة.

  • لا يمكننا تركيب الشاحن على ارتفاع يزيد عن 1.8 متر (6 أقدام) فوق مستوى الأرض، وإذا لم يكن بالإمكان تركيب الشاحن ضمن هذا الارتفاع، فسيتم تعليق الاعمال -وفي هذه الحالة، سيقوم المقاول بتقديم عرض سعر للأعمال الإضافية المطلوبة.

  • لا تشمل الخدمة على اي اعمال حفر او تمديد الكوابل تحت الأرض أو تعليقه فوق الأرض او خلال حديقة المنزل او ممرات -وفي حال تطلب الأمر شيئا من هذا القبيل، يرجى الطلب من مهندس التركيب بتقديم عرض اسعار للأعمال الاضافية ولا تتحمل الشركة اي مسؤولية.

  • لا تشمل الخدمة على أي اعمال تمديد الكوابل أسفل الالواح الارضية او المجاري الهوائية، داخل الاسقف او داخل الحائط دون وجود انابيب (لسحب الكابل من خلاله) عازلة للكهرباء ومعدة بشكل مسبق. ولا تتحمل الشركة او المقاول باي شكل من الاشكال اي مسؤولية عن عدم إعادة الأرضيات أو مواد البناء الأخرى او الديكورات التجميلية الى وضعها الاساسي بعد تمديد الكابل.

  • لا يمكن بشكل من الاشكال تنفيذ الاعمال في المناطق الضيقة أو على الاسطح أو المسطحات العلوية إذا تم اعتبرها غير آمنة.

  • لا يمكن بشكل من الاشكال تنفيذ الاعمال في الظروف الجوية القاسية (مثل الفيضانات أو الأمطار الغزيرة او الثلوج او ً الرياح الشديدة) إذا لم يكن الاستمرار في العمل آمنا، وسيتم اعادة الجدولة او استكمال الاعمال في وقت لاحق.

  • إذا كان لديك اي قطع اضافية مثل عامود او قاعدة او علاقة كوابل وتود تركيبها، يرجى العلم أنه سيكون عليك تحمل تكاليف إضافية.

  • خلال عملية شحن المركبة الكهربائية الخاصة بك، يجب وفي كل الاحوال أن يظل كابيل الشحن ضمن حدود منزلك (ممتلكاتك) ويجب باي شكل من الاشكال ان يتسبب في عرقلتك أنت أو أي شخص آخر

ماذا يحدث إذا اكتشف مهندس التركيب أن اسلاك او لوحة الكهرباء المنزل الحالية لا تتوافق مع متطلبات ومعايير التثبيت الخاصة بالشركة المصنعة

  • تعين اتباع الارشادات والمعايير المحددة من قبل المصنع لضمان عمل الشاحن بالشكل المطلوب والحفاظ على سريان الضمان.

  • لذا إذا تعذر تركيب الشاحن لعدم توفر الاحتياجات والمتطلبات الاساسية بشكل كلي او جزئي سواء من حيث اسلاك التأريض والقدرة الكهربائية اللازمة وغيرها، فسيتم تعليق العمل بشكل مؤقت وسيتم تقديم عرض اسعار للأعمال الاضافية المطلوبة لتلبية الاحتياجات والمعايير المطلوبة.

  • إذا كانت الاعمال والتجهيزات الكهربائية الحالية في المبنى المراد تركيب الشاحن فيه غير مطابقة للوائح أو متطلبات التركيب ومعايير الامن والحماية أو كان هناك عوامل آخر يجعل تركيب وتشغيل الشاحن غير آمن على المركبة والافراد فسيتم تعليق العمل بشكل مؤقت وسيتم تقديم عرض اسعار للأعمال الاضافية المطلوبة لتلبية الاحتياجات والمعايير المطلوبة.

ٍ ماذا يحدث إذا كان مصدر الكهرباء (ساعة الكهرباء) لديك غير كاف

لا يمكن اتمام اعمال التركيب إلا في حال ان القدرة الكهربائية لمصدر الطاقة المستخدم كافية لتشغيل الشاحن حسب متطلبات ومواصفات المصنع في حال كانت الطاقة الكهربائية غير كافية، فقد يضطر مهندس التركيب إلى إيقاف ً الاعمال مؤقتا لحين قيام العميل بإجراءات رفع القدرة الكهربائية لدى شركة الكهرباء. ولتفادي مثل هذه الحالات سيكون ً من المفيد أن تخبرنا عن القدرة المتوفرة مقدما أو ترسل لنا صورة

التوقيت

يخصص ساعتين لتركيب الشاحن. وإذا تبين عدم التمكن من اكمال اعمال التركيب خلال هذه المدة او في نفس اليوم بسبب معوقات متعلقة بالمبنى او البنية التحتية او متطلبات إضافية او اي امور غير متوقعة، فسيتم تعليق العمل بشكل مؤقت وسيتم تقديم عرض اسعار للأعطال او للأعمال الاضافية المطلوبة لتلبية الاحتياجات والمعايير المطلوبة.

الاعمال الاضافية

  • إذا لزم الأمر، سيقوم مهندس التركيب بتوضيح الاعمال الاضافية المطلوبة وتقديم عرض أسعار غير ملزم لهذه الخدمات وستكون عروض الأسعار صالحة لمدة 2 أيام بمجرد إصدارها.

  • إذا كانت الأعمال الإضافية بسيطة (أقل من ساعتين من الأعمال الإضافية) ولا تحتاج الى مواد اضافية، فسيتم بذل اقصى جهد لإتمامها في نفس اليوم.

  • إذا تم تحديد أن التركيب لا يمكن أن يكتمل في نفس اليوم، سيتم تحديد موعد جديد بعد سداد اي دفعات مقدمة للأعمال الاضافية. وذلك خلال 5 أيام عمل.

الدفع

كافة الاعمال الاضافية التي يتم الموافقة عليها تستحق الدفع بشكل مقدما عند قبول عرض الأسعار

ضمان الشاحن و حدود المسؤولية

يرجى الاطلاع على دليل المستخدم المتوفر داخل صندوق الشاحن الكهربائية لحصول على تفاصيل وشروط الضمان و سريانه.

لن تكون الشركة مسؤولة اتجاه العميل عن اي اعطال في الشاحن او اصلاحات او سريان الضمان إذا:

  1. لم يتم تركيب الشاحن من قبل المقاول المعتمد لدى الشركة

  2. إذا لم يلتزم العميل بإبلاغ الشركة عن اي عطل في الشاحن من خلال الاتصال بالرقم أو على البريد الكتروني EVCHelp@catec.ae خلال مدة اقصاها 3 ايام مع ذكر المعلومات اللازمة للدلالة على الشاحن وموقع التركيب والعطل.

  3. إذا كان سبب العطل او التلف بسبب عدم الالتزام بتعليمات سواء الشفوية او المكتوبة فيما يتعلق بالاستخدام والتركيب والصيانة واستخدامه لأغراض اخرى غير شخصية او لشحن مركبات من نوع اخر.

  4. إذا كان سبب العطل او التلف نتيجة عدم الالتزام بالتعليمات و المواصفات الخاصة بالقاطع الكهربائي أو الشاحن أو ساعة الكهرباء.

  5. جراء تركيب او اي تعديلات او اصلاحات او تداخلات سواء على الشاحن او القاطع الكهربائي او ساعة الكهرباء الموصول على الشاحن من قبل اشخاص غير مدربين ومعتمدين لدى الوكيل المعتمد للشواحن.

  6. اي اعطال او اضرار او تلف ناتج عن الحوادث واعمال التخريب والمنظفات ذات الضغط العالي او محاولة السرقة او العبث المتعمد او الحيوانات وغيرها من الظروف غير الاعتيادية ويجب على العميل اخذ كل الاجراءات والسبل اللازمة لحماية الشاحن من العبث والتلف والضرر وعلى نفقته الخاصة.
     

وبذلك يتحمل العميل كافة التكاليف المتعلقة بإصلاح وصيانة الشاحن ولا تتحمل الشركة اي مسؤولية اتجاه ذلك.

و في كل الاحوال يستثنى من تغطية الضمان

  1.  تكاليف النقل واجور العمالة للإصلاح، بما في ذلك الوقت المستغرق في المعاينة الأولية أو في الفك وإعادة التركيب، إذا كان إصلاح الشاحن سيتم في موقع التثبيت بحسب الحاجة.

  2. عمليات التنظيف والصيانة الروتينية والصيانة الوقائية للشاحن على النحو المحدد من قبل المصنع، فضلا عن توريد المواد والقطع اللازمة لهذه العمليات؛.

  3. إعادة تشغيل الشاحن ورفع القاطع في حال فصل قواطع التيار الكهربائي عن الشاحن تلقائيا للحماية والوقاية.

  4.  بشكل عام، جميع العمليات الميدانية، خاصة إذا لم تكن هناك حاجة إلى استبدال قطع غيار.

ًعموما

عند تركيب الشاحن واستكمال جميع الأعمال الورقية اللازمة وتسديد المبالغ المالية المستحقة، تنتقل ملكية الشاحن ً للعميل، وفقا لهذه الشروط والأحكام

This contract and all terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Jordan

يخضع هذا العقد وجميع الشروط و الأحكام لقوانين المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية
