CATEC Mobility Partners With Gargash Enterprises

CATEC Mobility, the leading EV charging solutions and e-mobility services provider in the Middle East, announced its partnership with Gargash Enterprises to provide EV charging solutions to its customers. Through this partnership, both companies plan to enable smooth and easy adoption of EVs by consumers who are hesitant to transition to EVs due to the lack of sufficient home EV charging infrastructure. 

 

UAE is at the forefront of revolutionizing the e-mobility sector and aims to be the leader in clean energy and green environmental solutions in the MENA region. It already has one of the world's highest charging stations to electric vehicle ratios. As part of its Green Mobility Strategy 2030, Dubai plans to have 30% of its vehicles be electric or hybrid by the year 2030. Also, Dubai has already managed to have 50% of its taxi fleet as electric or hybrid and is aiming to make it 100% by 2027, switching completely to green mobility. Other emirates are not lagging behind either in this sustainability revolution, its neighbouring emirate Sharjah is offering free car charging to EV owners until 2025 as an incentive for residents to adopt green mobility. 

 

The MENA EV market is expected to reach USD 84 million by 2026, up from USD 35 million in 2020 according to Mordor Intelligence. The UAE is leading the way in terms of electric vehicle adoption and already has 1000 grid-linked charging public stations according to a whitepaper from the Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC). UAE residents are increasingly becoming environmentally conscious and are expressing interest in switching to green mobility. Government policies and incentives for the adoption of EVs have enabled various EV manufacturers to enter the UAE market and provide the residents with an array of different choices.

The home EV charging solutions are customized as per the specification of the EV car models.
